Reading Judge Lindberg’s denial of motions (above), I was reminded of the opening passage of this memorandum, because it strikes to the heart of the problem with the FLDS’ misuse of the courts to harass Bruce Wisan:
“Once again, the Trust is forced to incur time and attorney’s fees in responding to a frivolous attack raised by parties with no legal standing. The present Motion contains numerous distortions, mischaracterizations, half-truths, and outright falsehoods. A review of the relevant facts shows that the Fiduciary has done nothing improper with respect to the sale of the Harker cattle. Rather, such sale was within the business judgment of the Fiduciary, is in the best interests of the Trust, and is completely in harmony with the Orders of this Court.”
