  1. So…..

How long will it be before a new breathless article will go up on the Salt Lake Tribune that sets the record straight?

  2. i love for smith to let texas have wsj first. i want to hear him wiggle out of the charges as they pertain to merril’s 12 year old daughter.

  3. is that a rhetorical question TT?

    hhoooo-hhahaaaaa ~~ yeah. right.

It would be really cool (though highly unlikely) that she post about her error, then present a link to here. yeah right. ;)

  5. So let me get this straight…
a journalist just defamed a respected medical professional based on a rumor, without any evidence to support her claims. Now the evidence indicates that Lamont never asserted that records had been falsified.
Isn’t this the same journalist who condemned TBM and FLDS Texas administrators for posting the Priesthood Documents without redaction of the names of minors?
    What a hypocrite she is.

  6. Wow, talk about a tempest in a teapot. The pro-child abuse faction must be feeling pretty desperate to have invested so much hysteria to a simple misunderstanding (twice removed, no less). Probably it’s religious persecution on Lamont’s part that he didn’t actually say anything about medical records being falsified. ;)

  7. That person is no journalist.

  8. Bwahahahaha! I love Texas FLDS!

  9. Lamont has told a lot of people including myself that lies were told all through out the trial.

  10. Anon 11:46PM…Lamont has told a lot of people including myself that lies were told all through out the trial.

    Such as….

  11. Brooke’s blog should come with the disclaimer….”For entertainment purposes only. The truth may not be present in any article here….” She still has the same 3 or 4 cheerleaders that hang on her everyword. Long ago, it was an interesting place for discussion..before most discussion was curtailed or editted out. FLDS TEXAS is still the happenin’ place to be!

  12. Anon 11:46, ah ha, so who are you? and why would lamont barlow tell you anything?

  13. OOOPS

That really looks bad for Brooke! Not to mention Warren and Picarretta, and all the other straw grabbing numbskull monkey on a drum Plyg Pedo Protection Patrol Peoples.

  14. Judge Conn is still an idiot to let this nonsense go on –

  15. Hey Stamp,
Hugh thinks that Ron in Houston is you, Rozita, Twist, Laughing Panfish, etc.
    What do you think ?

  16. Keeping sweet,

I think Hugh Mungus McEgo is feigning ignorance, he knows that Ron isnt using sockpuppets.

Hugo is excersising his narcississm disorder some more, he thinks he is superior because he uses his name and few others do.

Read the symptoms and see if you think they apply. My favorite is “Unrealistic Goals” – because he is a Polygamy lobbiest but is only satisfied with Polygyny.

So even if he wins he loses. HAW!

  17. My favorite part of that is the section titled “when to see a doctor”.

“When you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may not want to think that anything could be wrong — doing so wouldn’t fit with your self-image of power and perfection. But by definition, narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of your life, such as relationships, work, school or your financial affairs. “

  18. BINGO

  20. Thanks anon

At least THEY point out it was BUGDEN who lied.

That they would use the buzz over THEIR lies to imply the other way around, is friggen hilarious!

    OOOPSY!

Holy Cow Pie, Warren, ya stepped in it!

  21. It would be hilarious if no one believed it, but unfortunately the lies are getting spread all over the internet.

  22. Betty,

I’m OK with that, because when the truth comes out, there will be plenty of holy cow pie on peoples faces. You can include PIC, Conn, Warren, Bugden, and assorted PPPP in the splattered gallery.

The fact Warren’s atty was trying to paint a rape victim as a drug user really ought to bite them back hard. Its good it gets a second look IMHO!

  23. Good point. It’s a really unscrupulous case of blame the victim.

  24. The person who I really feel for in this is EW. I hadn’t heard about the divorce, and I’m sorry to hear it.

She endured a trial where the most intimate parts of her life were opened for all to see. Then in claiming falsification of her medical records, it directed everyone to go take a look at them. Just imagine the whole world perusing your OBGYN records?

She lost a child, and that is emotionally painful. That’s what those records detail.

So it’s no problem to re-victimize a victim? That’s how you defend your client? Then you must not have much of a defense.

Pic’s minions and enablers are no better. At least he’s got an excuse, he’s getting paid.

    Shame on all of them.

    =====================================================

Kinda like the whole world seeing the private information given to your minister? What about your lawyer, who you were forced to accept, discussing private sexual matters on a National tv show?

Can you imagine if Brooke copied the records and put scans on the internet? After all, I assume they are now public record. If this was done y’all would be screaming.

What this site has done to FLDS children is ten times worse than any information released on th SL Tribune. After all, Ellisa already wrote a book about these private details.

The FLDS teenagers, who are now adults, had no choice on whether they wanted their private lives exposed by your group. You decided to make the choice to expose the private sexual lives of adult and teenage women. All while using the insane justification that since other people exploited them it’s your duty to exploit them too.

The FLDS members are people too and they deserve as much respect as you give to Ellisa and Dan.

Shame on y’all for your double standard.

  26. MaryKay, what this site has done is bring fact and truth to this issue!! I realize its difficult for you to read and know how a group of adults could so willingly give away their children under the demand of ONE man, but Its ALL true!!

Some of the young women are adult (legally aged) in 2010 but they were NOT when they were bartered off by the prophet in 2005-2006.
How do YOU know, its NOT STILL being done right now today???

Warren Jeffs is still prophet,, he can command from a jail cell. Anyone he appoints can be “mouth”for him for a wedding ceremony.
SHAME ON YOU FOR SUPPORTING ASSULATING CHILDREN MARYKAY, because with every breath and every word you type, thats EXACTLY what your doing.

  27. It would seem that this filing over medical records as other have said is nothing more than a tempest in a teapot. The real reason defense lawyers do this sort of thing is that they have no case and must use any means including attacks on victims character, trying to influence the jury pool by getting friendly media persons to carry their propaganda as legitimate news.

The good thing about this is that the lawyers continue to bleed the beast, the FLDS beast. Billed by the hour on the hour, lots of happy defense attorneys getting rich off the holy FLDS cash cows! MOO Kerching$

    ___________________

Since, via “prophet” directive, they aren’t allowed access to outside media (i.e., newspapers, tv, Internet, etc.) what does it really matter? They should have no knowledge of this site. So… no worries, MK.

  29. “Kinda like the whole world seeing the private information given to your minister?”

When it’s evidence of a crime and introduced into the trial, yes, it is perfectly okay. Frankly, I’ve never needed to give any “private information” to my minister about any crimes that I’ve never committed. It’s amazing what being law-abiding does for one.

“What about your lawyer, who you were forced to accept, discussing private sexual matters on a National tv show?”

What about your mother, who you had no choice in, forcing you to marry a man old enough to be your grandfather before you’re 13?

“Can you imagine if Brooke copied the records and put scans on the internet? After all, I assume they are now public record. If this was done y’all would be screaming.”

Why? Because she’s revealing factual papers? I don’t think so.

“What this site has done to FLDS children is ten times worse than any information released on th SL Tribune.”

This site has protected the FLDS children by releasing the factual EVIDENCE of child abuse in the FLDS. The only way to protect them and change the abuse in their lives is to reveal the lies of the FLDS leadership and parents for what they are. ALL children have a right to grow up before being forced into adult roles, whether a prophet says otherwise or not. At least they do here in the USA.

“After all, Ellisa already wrote a book about these private details.”

Oh no! Not a book with private details! Abusers are the ones who declare that one does not air their dirty laundry in public — you know that, don’t you?

“The FLDS teenagers, who are now adults, had no choice on whether they wanted their private lives exposed by your group. You decided to make the choice to expose the private sexual lives of adult and teenage women. All while using the insane justification that since other people exploited them it’s your duty to exploit them too.”

You know what, Mary? When I was 10 years old pictures of my entire body were taken by CPS. Those pictures went into a record. They’ve been used in court, and probably in courses educating professionals in the signs of abuse. Do I hate it that those pictures have been viewed by who knows how many people? Yes, I do. Do I think it right and appropriate that they were? Yes, I do. My modesty is not as important as the protection of another child. The FLDS children were and are abused by their parents and religious leaders, not by a site revealing the lies of those parents and religious leaders. The lies need to be exposed for healing to begin. Your determination to keep every thing secret smacks of abuser/victim mentality.

“The FLDS members are people too and they deserve as much respect as you give to Ellisa and Dan.”

I attempt to give all people respect, while being clear that crime is not to be ignored or hidden.

“Shame on y’all for your double standard.”

Shame on you for attempting to perpetuate conditions of abuse. Shame, shame, SHAME on you!

  30. There’s a reason active FLDS members are forbidden to visit this site by their priesthood leaders. The leaders are not so concerned with public perception as they are concerned about their flock finding out the truth of what they’ve been up to.

  31. What kind of twisted logic thinks that the worst thing you can do to a rape victim is to help bring her attacker to justice? Oh, yeah. The kind of twisted logic used by attackers.

  32. …dropping by to give a quick Salute (!) to all the posters here who continue — ardently, factually and rationally — to keep rebutting the assnine comments of characters who slither by here in pools of their own willful ignorance. SALUT!

  33. dang, did it again…last post , TexasMom
